The marriage was performed at Washington Memorial Chapel, Valley Forge Rd. Thursday with the Rev. John Robbins Hart officiating.
The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. George Wescoe, of High Bridge.
The bride was attired in a navy chiffon cape suit with white accessories and wore a corsage of white roses and lillies of the valley. Mrs. Wescoe's gown was of luggage tan with white accessories. She had as her corsage talisman roses and sweet peas.
Mrs. Martin is a graduate of the New Jersey College for Women and is Latin teacher at Central high school, Hopewell township. Martin attended the Stewart School of Engineering in New York City and is affiliated with the Taylor Wharton Iron and Steel Company, at High Bridge.
Following dinner at the Log Cabin Inn, Norristown, the couple left for an extensive tour of the New England States and Canada.

Clarence later worked in Bostwick and Naponee before coming to Republican City, NE in about 1915. At the time of his death, Clarence owned a 40% in the bank, now the Commercial State Bank.
In 1951, the Republican River was dammed, flooding the site of the old town of Republican City. The town was moved up to higher ground above the river and re-established. Clarence's home was one of those moved to the new town in 1951.
