     Gerrid Durie was also known as Garret Durie. Gerrid Durie was born circa 1747. He was baptized on 11 January 1747 at Dutch Reformed Church, Schraalenburgh, Bergen County, New Jersey. He was the son of Jan Durie and Weyntie Lydecker. Gerrid Durie married Catlyntje Kuyper, daughter of Aert Kuyper and Trientje Lozier, on 25 September 1767 at Dutch Reformed Church, Schraalenburgh, Bergen County, New Jersey. Gerrid Durie and Catlyntje Kuyper joined the church at Dutch Reformed Church, Schraalenburgh, Bergen County, New Jersey, 2 December 1772. Gerrid Durie left a will on 18 June 1819. He died on 5 January 1822 at age 74. His estate was proved on 28 January 1822 at Hackensack, Bergen County, New Jersey.
