Melvin E. Hudson, 76, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away Wednesday April 6, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital South. Born December 22, 1928 in Garfield, KY, the son of James T. & Rena Pearl (Conover) Hudson. He retired as Production operator for Lily Industries. A member of Emmanuel Church of Greenwood. Survivors include one son Michael Hudson, Greenwood, IN; one daughter, Marsha Surgeon, Layton, Utah; one brother, Kenneth P. Hudson, Martinsville, IN; three grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday April 11, 2005 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home (formerly know as Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home), 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN, with the Pastor Marion Glover officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
